OSHA’s Final Rule on “Improving the Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses” is now in its 7th year. As per the requirements of the rule, your establishment, based on its size and NAICS code, is obligated to electronically submit the 2023 300A Log to OSHA’s Injury Tracking Application (ITA) website. In 2023, OSHA issued a final rule amending its workplace injury and illness recordkeeping regulations. Under this new rule, employers in designated industries with over 100 employees must annually submit Form 300 and Form 301, in addition to Form 300A, using OSHA’s ITA. This webcast will provide information on which industries are affected by the new rule and who must submit Form 300 and Form 301. It will cover the industries impacted by the initial rule, the submission requirements, the submission process, and the deadline for submissions. We will explain what industries are impacted by the initial rule, what needs to be submitted, how to submit, and the deadline for submissions. We will also briefly review how OSHA is using this data to make workplaces safer for all employees.
